Volunteering in classroom and other information...

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you have all had a Merry Christmas and I would like to wish you a Happy New Year. When we return from winter break, we will begin preparing for 2nd quarter assessments. After 2nd quarter assessments have been completed, we will begin centers. My plan is to start centers on January 29th. Centers will take place Tuesday through Friday each week starting at 2:00 p.m. I will need 2 to 3 parent volunteers each day. In order to volunteer to help with centers you must send me your available dates two weeks in advance so that I do not over schedule parents. If you can come weekly on a specific day please let me know. If you are scheduled to help with centers and cannot attend on your scheduled day, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can have someone else fill in for you or I can make other arrangements.  When volunteering for centers or to help/visit the classroom in any capacity you must sign in at the office and receive a visitor’s pass. If you do not have a pass I will ask you to go to the office and sign in before being allowed to enter the classroom. Please understand that this is required by the office and is for the safety of your children. I will also have a classroom visitor log posted in the classroom for you to sign each time you visit.
